Supervision

-with neurodivergence or identity focus.

As a trained and experienced creative clinical supervisor I offer 1:1 supervision to coaches and therapists. I specialise in helping you to adapt your practice to suit the needs of the neurodivergent clients at all stages of their neurodivergence exploration as well as through regular therapy or coaching. Sessions usually happen on a bi-weekly basis with weekly slots available for trainees and newly qualified practitioners.

Insight into boundaries and safeguarding

Supervisor (who is also a therapist!) can help you and your clients to stay safe and identify when issues fall outside the scope of your expertise and into the signposting territory. A therapist-supervisor can help a coach recognise signs that a client may need further support.

Skill development and best practices

Supervisor can give you guidance on specific client situations, helping you adopt best strategies and integrate new skills.

Developing psychoeducational skills

Supervision (in coaching) offers you a chance to refine your psychoeducational skills, so you can empower clients with insights into their neurodivergent identities in a compassionate, accurate way. therapist-supervisor can help deepen this knowledge, equipping coaches with a nuanced, compassionate approach that empowers clients and respects their unique neurodivergent identity.

Ethics and accountability

Supervision helps you stay aligned with ethical standards, promoting integrity and accountability in your practice.

Enhanced self-awareness and reflections

Supervisor can help you notice things in your practice you might have missed or not paid attention to.

Support and preventing burnout

Working with clients (also - if not especially in a neurodivergent context) can be deeply fulfilling but also demanding. Supervision provides emotional support, helping you manage stress and prevent burnout, which is essential for sustainable practice.

Professional growth and confidence

Regular feedback from a supervisor and having professional conversation encourages you to explore your strengths and areas for growth, building confidence and competence.

Corporate training

After years of working as a psychoeducation leader with the Self Space and prior to that providing international training for the charities - I am ready to help you understand more about mental health in a way that will benefit your organisation.

Polly created the spaced where everyone felt able to be themselves and learn in the way that suits them best. I walked around my room throughout the training and was applauded for that, can you believe?

I always worry, any new training will bring me back to school (I will be uncomfortable, won’t understand a thing and forget it all tomorrow). This session was different - I felt heard, engaged and able to use the tools provided in my day to day.
